Breno Mota Sarmento

I am an undergraduate student with interest in numerical methods and geometric analysis applied to multiphase flow simulations. Currently, I am developing an algorithm to estimate interface curvature more accurately and efficiently. The methodology is based on local quadratic surface reconstruction from the neighborhood of mesh nodes in unstructured grids, using Python and Gmsh. This implicit surface enables curvature computation at mesh nodes, contributing to the study of interfacial dynamics in finite element simulations. I am a student with scolarship from FAPERJ. and under supervision of Prof. Gustavo R. Anjos and Dr. Daniel Barbedo.
