Rodrigo Gadelha Salvaterra Dutra
I am a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate student at UFRJ and currently serve as the Undergraduate Researcher for a project funded by the National Agency of Petroleum (ANP). Under the guidance of Prof. Gustavo R. Anjos, I am developing a custom Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solver in Python based on the Finite Element Method (FEM). My research focuses on evaluating the multiphase flow of air and B100 biodiesel within a combustion chamber, specifically analyzing the spray cone angle, penetration, and other injection parameters to optimize biofuel implementation in modern internal combustion engines.
