Matheus Batista Braga
I am a master's student in Mechanical Engineering at the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute for Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering (Coppe) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). I currently work as a Product Engineer at National Oilwell Varco (NOV), within the Subsea Production System segment, focusing on ancillary equipment for flexible pipes. I graduated in 2022 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. My undergraduate thesis focused on comparing numerical methods for contact analysis using open-source finite element software. My research interests include structural integrity, computational mechanics, finite elements, heat transfer, and offshore structures.
