João Pedro Rodrigues

joaoPedroRodrigues

Mechanical Engineering graduate from Polytechnic School/Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. During undergraduate studies, worked on two research projects: one focused on neural networks applied to biodiesel synthesis, and the other, under the supervision of Prof. Gustavo R. Anjos, on finite element method applied to stream-vorticity formulation to evaluate flows in porus media. Now João is working as flowline engineer in Oil & Gas industry, gaining experience in flowline modelling in Abaqus, VAS and global buckling analysis, VIV and free span analysis, wall thickness design, cathodic protection of submarine systems and other required analyses for subsea systems design.
